1920’S PHOTO METHODIST MISSION GOULBURN IS SEMI-TRIBAL ABORIGINES/BARK HUT W28
We have on offer an original 1920’s photo showing semi-tribal Aborigines outside a bark hut most likely at the Goulburn Island Mission. These Aborigines would have been the first to come to the mission. The Methodist Church established a mission there in 1916 with mission being handed over to Aboriginal management in 1973.
